Summary
Holly receives an unexpected offer to expand her jewelry business, Treasured Creations, and she doesn’t know whether to accept the contract or not. Selling beaded jewelry at festivals in her small town is one thing, but a painful experience from her past has made her gun-shy about taking risks.

An Unexpected Love is the third part in the Treasured Dream series. Holly and Dave have been dating for two months now and are going on their weekly nature hike. Holly has a bit of an internal struggle and has to decide if following her dream is worth the risk.
I do enjoy Holly and Dave's story so far. An Unexpected Love was another quick and easy read. I love reading this series on my lunch breaks. It gives me the romance I desire while satisfying my reading addiction. I recommend the series for anyone looking to read an adorable romance story. This would be perfect for you!

This is a short story. And I mean SHORT story. If you have five minutes, you have time for this book. Well, if you haven't read the two previous short stories in this series, then you will need fifteen minutes to read them all. ) Do you have 15 minutes? Think lunch break for waiting for your kids at practice or those 15 minutes of peace right before bed.
This is the continuation of Holly's life. We get glimpses of her life in these tiny little nuggets. The first book is An Unexpected Date . Then comes An Unexpected Kiss . This one is that moment of love that follows the dates and the kissing. ) It is so sweet! My heart melted just a wee tad.
Susan Hatler is one of my all time favorites for zingy, light and fun romances. It's amazing what she can accomplish in five minutes of reading for me!

Holly and Dave are so sweet. Given the chance to expand her business Holly has concerns. Flashbacks from a childhood event have her questioning her abilities. Finally trusting Dave she opens up, he supports her as a true love should.
I liked this story because you could feel what she was thinking and feeling. A girl having a large decision to make goes for a hike with her boyfriend. And, when the hike is finished she knows what she'll do. I would recommend this to any of my friends.
This is the third story in Susan Hatler’s Treasured Dreams series. I think of the three, this pulled a head slightly as a favorite. I feel that this is where the series will really start taking off and expanding, as Holly and Dave’s relationship does the same.
Holly has to make a big decision in this story. No matter what what she finally decides, her life will change. With it, the course of this series. I know what she decided, and I can’t wait until story four is released. I don’t think I’ll get tired of Holly’s story.
Holly and Dave’s romance continues in the third Treasured Dreams story. We’ve watched this lovely couple meet, have their first date, experience that wildly anticipated first kiss all over the course of several short stories. For me, that has been the charm of this series of short or very short stories – we get glimpses of the big moments in this couple’s lives together. And it’s enough to make a connection to them, bring back our own personal memories – and even cheer them on a bit for the next step in their relationship.
Holly has been made an offer concerning her business. It means taking a risk, a huge risk – but she’s hesitating on making the final decision. As usual when she’s worried about something, Holly is constantly touching, rubbing and clutching the beautiful butterfly charm that she made this morning. The one that brought about the burst of doubts that now are plaguing her on this hike up the mountain with Dave… stealing a bit of the pleasures of nature and her boyfriend’s company while her mind churns over a decision that she is simply afraid to make.
This is the story where Dave did some major shining in my opinion. He didn’t do the usual man thing of fixing something for her. He listened. Really, really listened to not only her words but the underlying emotions behind the stories and fears she told him about. And we can see Holly looking at the memories in a different way, assigning a far different emotion to things that happened years ago. We see her come to the conclusion that Dave needed her to see all along – but she came to it herself, he didn’t fix it for her, she did. And that, my reading friend, is amazing.
I am absolutely loving this series where we keep getting peeks into a couple’s lives. For those moments that matter, big or small, but they matter to the relationship. It’s different from most romance series, it’s certainly entertaining and it’s a slice of life that most of us can relate to on some level with a memory or two of our own. Yeah, this series is a winner for me.
